This is fun. Don’t you love when press releases about public events tell a different story than the actual press release is promoting. Exhibit A:‚  A pancake breakfast is happening now. And there are several public officials in attendance, including Mayor Richard Daley, Senator Dick Durbin and Governor Pat Quinn.‚  Mind you, this is a press release from the governor’s office, not the governor’s campaign.

So everyone will be there. Well, not everyone. Or wait, no…everyone. Because Governor Pat Quinn happened to leave off Illinois Comptroller Dan Hynes, who was also going to be in attendance. It just so happens he’s running against Quinn in the Democratic primary for Governor. Minutes after getting the governor’s press release, we got this in our Inbox:
