IMAG (born Lemond Brown on August 1, 1988 in Washington, D.C.) is an American rapper, songwriter, and record producer. Since the age of 5 IMAG has been crafting lyrics and writing poetry among other artistic hobbies. His training in classical piano at the young age of 7 has made him into a very promising producer as well. IMAG has been producing songs for himself and other local acts in the DC Metro area since he was 16. His youthfulness provides a good balance to the maturity in his music. Creating IMAGinative concepts for each of his songs is one of the things that sets him apart, and is something that is lost in much of today’s music, especially in hip-hop. Fresh, original, powerful, eclectic and captivating, are all words that industry leaders and fans alike have used to describe the music that is IMAG. Using real life experiences and the influence of his environment to put together real music anybody can relate to; his creative, witty, relaxed flow has drawn many people of all ages to his music.
