A new report from Congressman Danny Davis shows African-American males are more likely to be unemployed and undereducated than other groups in Chicago. According to census data, 21 percent of African-American men in Chicago are unemployed. Additionally, nearly 60 percent of those released from the Illinois Department of Corrections in 2016 were black males. Davis has convened a group of community leaders to come up with solutions.
