Robert Adams, an independent scholar with a Ph.D. in Anthropology, has conducted research in the areas of culture, education, reform, racial equality, and social identities in the U.S. and abroad, including Brazil, Mexico, and South Africa. He is the guest editor of a special issue of African and Black Diaspora: An International Journal on Brazil, and his research articles and reviews have appeared in Anthropology News, American Ethnologist, Identities: Global Studies in Culture and Power, Safundi: The Journal of South African and American Studies, and Transforming Anthropology.
