Rush University And Cook County Health and Hospitals SystemTo Study Superbugs With CDC Funding

About one in 25 patients in U.S. hospitals gets an infection that can lead to death while getting treated for a different medical condition.

The Centers for Disease Control and Prevention is putting $26 million toward research to prevent drug-resistant superbugs. Rush University and the Cook County Health and Hospitals System is getting a piece of that funding.
