Just when you were getting used to your teens getting on social networking sites, Facebook has decided to tap into the tween scene (and younger), too. The social networking giant is looking at ways to bring pre-teens into its net.  But they’re not the only ones trying to get the kids in their corner.  Others like Tumblr, Twitter and YouTube are also after this demographic.

So what’s a weary parent to do to keep their child safe online? Ars Technica’s Social Editor Cesar Torres joins us to talk about some safe practices for you and your kids online.
