contratiempo magazine contributing writers facilitate this discussion of the short stories of Sun, Stone and Shadows, the book chosen by presenters Boundless Readers and National Louis University for the National Endowment for the Arts’ Big Read in Chicago.

The audience included The Big Read book discussion groups, Big Read supporters, contratiempo readers and the general public. In this conversation, the writers explore and discuss the influence that the Mexican authors of these short stories, which include Juan Rulfo, Octavio Paz, Rosario Castellanos, Juan José Arreola and Carlos Fuentes, have had in their own narrative.
