Team USA has made it through — huzzah! The USA women’s gymnastics team made it through today’s finals, beating Russia who got silver and Romania with the bronze. To celebrate, here a few choice photos of the relatively calm final, considering all the hubbub before.

It can be hard to tell the sparkles apart from the tears sometimes.
As well as the sign holding. Isn’t it clear who is who?
I always find this one-by-one handshaking sort of awkward.
It looks very dark and ominous in there, and the USA’s grey uniforms aren’t helping matters.
But fear not, there’s that guy in the middle with the sunglasses dancing at the camera to liven things up.
