Catherine Lambrecht gives an update on the results and future plans of the Greater Midwest Foodways Alliance’s family heirloom recipe competition .

Catherine Lambrecht is a founder of the Greater Midwest Foodways Alliance. She is program chair of Chicago Foodways Roundtable of Culinary Historians of Chicago, a founder and moderator of LTHforum.com culinary chat site, and former president of the Illinois Mycological Association and the Highland Park Historical Society. She was vice chair of the advisory council for University of Illinois Extension at Grayslake and former vice president of the Lake County Extension Foundation.
