Sudanese-American Looks Forward to First Election

The November general election is fast approaching. It's turning out to be one for the history books. That's because of the presidential race between Illinois Sen. Barack Obama and Arizona Sen. John McCain. For some people in Chicago, the election represents a bit of personal history—a milestone. Today, a Sudanese man who came to Chicago as a refugee reflects on what it means to cast a ballot for the first time as an American citizen.
