Tent City residents and their supporters marched through Uptown today, briefly stopping traffic on Lakeshore Drive. Protesters carried banners — some reading “Homeless but Human Still” — and hoisted a tents in the air.

The city of Chicago said it has been evaluating if people who are homeless should be allowed to live in tents under the viaducts. 

The city’s decision is expected tomorrow.
