The 3@3: Romney in London, high school in the Loop and guns
Today on the 3@3, Chicago Journal's Ben Meyerson and Chicago Magazine's Carol Felsenthal join Steve Edwards today to chat up these topics:
Carol Fesenthal: Romney says, “London might not be ready for the Olympics” and his “shared Anglo-Saxon heritage/special relationship (with Britain).”
Ben Meyerson: The quality of public schools for people living near downtown. People living in the South Loop and Loop have a pretty good grammar school in South Loop Elementary, but their high school options are pretty unappealing. A group of parents and community leaders are working with Ald. Bob Fioretti to try to persuade CPS not to tear down the old Jones College Prep HS building and instead turn it into a neighborhood high school.
Steve Edwards: The conversation around guns that has evolved since the shootings in Aurora, Colorado.
