The Encyclopedia Show presents The Anthology Show, featuring the best of season three!

Founded in Chicago, December 2008, by poets and producers Robbie Q. Telfer and Shanny Jean Maney, the Encyclopedia Show showcases visual art, comedy, music, and spoken word on a wide variety of subjects revolving around a chosen topic. Each month a new topic is picked from the encyclopedia and related assignments are sent to a diverse group of novice and notable talents from the Chicagoland Area and National Artists in the slam, academic, and youth artists’ communities. The Encyclopedia Shows provide audiences of all ages entertainment and creatively executed accidental knowledge. The Anthology Show features music, poetry, visual art, and spoken word by: Molly Meacham (Speak’Easy Ensemble) from the Periodic Table of Elements show; Kristana Colon (HBO Def Poet) from the Civil Wars show; the interview with Mayor Al Larson during the show on the Village of Schaumburg; Ian Chillag and Justin Witte (Wait, Wait, Don’t Tell Me), Exercise; the Elan String Quartet (performing work by Roy David Magnuson), Brains; Kevin Coval (Louder Than A Bomb co-founder), Punctuation; Diana Lawrence (Diana and the Dishes), Video Games; Susie Swanton (Louder Than A Bomb College Slam Champ), Spices; Annie Kincade (College Speech Team Champ), Flightless Birds; Lamar Jorden (Louder Than A Bomb HS Champ), Christmas; and Chris Bower (Ray’s Tap Reading Series), Heaven.
