Over the next few months, Eight Forty-Eight will be examining Mayor Emanuel’s first 100 days in office. The First 100 will look at new policy emerging under the administration and how it might affect residents. To assess, Eight Forty-Eight will invite some of the connectors between the city’s neighborhoods and members of City Council.

In the first installment, Eight Forty-Eight took a look at potential actions for arts and culture policy.

Alderman Joe Moreno from the 1st Ward discussed what he expects from chamber talks. And Kate Lorenz, Executive Director of the Hyde Park Arts Center, spoke about what organizations like hers are expecting from the new administration.
