The Power of Radio

This year saw radio journalists mobilize more than one million immigrant rights advocates across the country, providing forums where everyone from neighborhood folks to former President Bill Clinton can debate local and national issues, and serve as a lifeline in emergencies like Hurricane Katrina. Radio news and talk has shown it's more vital than ever. Listen in as citizens, journalists, non-profit communicators and community leaders were invited to discuss the future of news, public affairs and talk radio.

Recorded Thursday, June 08, 2006 at Columbia College Chicago.
