But more and more, authorities have been using technology, and the court system, to break up, and push criminal activity out of their towns and counties. Eight Forty-Eight explores the different ways in which authorities are fighting gang activity, and whether it's working.

Debate: WBEZ political reporter Sam Hudzik went to 10th District's Democratic primary debate, so you don't have to. He shares the highlights.
