Only a few months after the release of their third LP, Chicago pop punk band The Scissors are back at work on another full-length. The band promises a “more refined sound as guitarist Yvonne Szumski takes over lead vocals on a bulk of the songs.”
The band joins Jesse Menendez on Vocalo’s MusicVox to talk about what they mean by “a more refined sound,” premiere a new song, talk about how they got their song “Let’s Go” featured in PlayStation’s MLB 2011 game and discuss their thoughts on a DIY approach to music.
