Heart breaking is just one way to describe last nights effort to beat the Miami Heat. The Heat last night defeated the Chicago Bulls in the Eastern Conference finals.

The Bulls looked to be well on their way to victory, but blew a 12-point lead in the fourth quarter losing 83 to 80. Bulls Coach Tom Thibodeau said his team did some things to let the Heat back into the game, like letting Miami get to the free throw line too much.

“I thought we were aggressive. I thought we moved our feet well. We had some tough calls go against us, and then we backed up. And you can’t back up against these guys,” he said.

MVP Derrick Rose wouldn’t say he needed another strong player to help push the Bulls through.

He said he was responsible for the game’s shortcomings at the end.

“Turnovers, missed shots, fouls. If anything, learn from it. That’s all I can do right now,” Rose said.

The Bulls plan to “learn from it” all this summer.

The Heat move on to the NBA Championship games where they face the Dallas Mavericks.
