NWA is excited to collaborate with The BeeHive Design Collective, a non-profit political organization that uses graphical media as educational tools to communicate stories of creative resistance and to “cross-pollinate the grassroots.” Listen in as the 100% volunteer-driven collective presents their 14’x 18’ portable mural titled “The True Cost of Coal.” (Click on the link to see an image of the mural online.) The graphic uses mountain top removal as a lens through which to understand the historical and contemporary story of energy, resource extraction, and its impact on American advancement globally.
