Chicago has long been considered one of the world's great blues towns - and every year the Chicago Blues Festival attracts visitors from all over the world, eager to immerse themselves in Chicago's legendary blues scene.
The Blues Fest returns this weekend with performances from dozens of artists on multiple stages - and one of the local performers is Nellie “Tiger” Travis. Travis learned her chops at the knees of the late, great Koko Taylor.
She joined Eight Forty-Eight to share her inside tips for how to soak up the best of Chicago blues culture this weekend - inside and outside the festival grounds.
