Also Radio M remembers pianist Hank Jones who died on May 16th at age 91. Jones was a top pianist who played with the likes of Coleman Hawkins, Miles Davis, Hot Lips Page and Ella Fitzgerald. One of his later projects was an album of beautiful music with a group of Malian musicians. We’ll play a cut from Sarala.
