Earlier this year we welcomed in Andrew Francis to sing for us his Talkin’ Headline Blues. But putting the news to musical notes isn’t his true stage persona.
He’s one half of the self-described “rhythm and revival,” rockabilly-leaning band, Poor Elvis. The other is singer/ washboard/ukulele player, Pamela Maurer.
They’re out now with a new 7” record, and they bring a heapin’ helpin’ of their hardy rock to Eight Forty-Eight on Tuesday. They also perform tonight at the Empty Bottle in Chicago.
