Last week, the Illinois House passed a bill to let voters recall state officials. The proposed constitutional amendment is seen as something of a jab at Governor Rod Blagojevich. But while the measure had broad support in the House and the backing of Lieutenant Governor Pat Quinn, the Senate is a little more friendly with the Govenor and the recall amendment skidded to a halt there yesterday.
