Want to know what the Great Recession looks like in Northwest Indiana?‚  Check out Woodland Village mobile home park on U.S. 20, just east of Gary-- where business is booming, as people look for cheaper places to live. Steve Walsh has started hanging out there, and he'll be bringing us the stories for his new project It Takes the Village. For one of the first installments, he talked with Jim Harwood, who moved to the trailer park after getting laid off at the Hummer plant last year.‚  Jim saw his dad's generation go through the recession of the 1980s.‚  Now he's got teenage kids of his own, and he can't find a gig where the wage beats his unemployment check.
