Katie Prout is a writer, runner and storyteller who works for A Large Internet Coupon Company in the city of Chicago. She writes about family, feelings, and all things feminism at http://inmyspiralringnotebook.blogspot.com.
Shantell Jamison is a writer, and cultural critic. She is the author of “Drive Yourself in the Right Direction: Simple Quotes on how to Achieve Your Best Self.” When she’s not telling stories or working out, she’s enjoying good food with friends and chilling with her dog Gigi.

FORMAT:

Featured Storytellers are invited to share their stories, which we take a short music break courtesy of Ayana Contreras host of Vocalo’s Reclaimed Soul.

Members of the crowd take the stage for an OPEN MIC as well. The best stories will be featured on Vocalo.

Bring your best stories to share… otherwise just come to listen, chill, and groove.

OPEN MIC RULES:

You and the microphone with a TRUE story. No music acts, no poetry, ONLY STORIES. 6 MINUTE LIMIT. Take advantage of your chance to be heard on the radio.
