The annual summer Bronzeville Comedy Showcase returns for year nine, presented by Vocalo.org 91.1 and curated in partnership with comedian Brian Babylon, panelist on NPR’s and WBEZ’s Wait Wait Don’t Tell Me! The series will be hosted this year by up and coming funnyman Tim Barnes from the popular It’s All True podcast!

For newbies, the Bronzeville Comedy Showcase is a comedy event where comedians try out new sets in front of Vocalo-loving audiences.

For this special “Kick-Off” event, in addition to hilarious stand-up comedians like Felonious Munk & Adam Burke, we’ll also feature improv sets from Stir Friday Night, PIMPROV & Los Improviachis.

Performances will be held in the outside courtyard at Blanc Gallery, weather permitting, and are free and open to the public.
