A local union chapter is teaching volunteer marshals how to use hand signals to direct marchers, as well as how to cope with hecklers and de-escalate dangerous situations. The Women’s March On Chicago takes place January 21, the day after Donald Trump takes office. Organizers say they want to send a message to the new administration and advocate for women’s rights.
