Joe Yonan is tired of hearing people bitch and moan about cooking for “just” themselves. The Food and Travel Editor at the Washington Post says singles too often order take-out, and give up on cooking at home, but his new book, Serve Yourself, Nightly Adventures in Cooking for One, challenges singles all over the country to plan a little bit ahead, and feed yourself delicious food in the appropriate portions (without wasting half cans of everything). I met up with Yonan at a book signing/taco eating party at Big Star recently, to talk about his new book.
