There’s always a lot to do in Chicago and the latest Weekly Guide was partly responsible for the embarrassment of entertainment riches. Mary Lindsey, owner of Jokes and Notes, a comedy club and lounge in Chicago’s Bronzeville neighborhood. Lindsey’s not a comedian but about 20 years ago she thought comedy might be a way to better her community. She opened her club in 2006  and things are still humming along. Despite her busy schedule Mary agreed to help listeners plan their weekend.

Afterwards, she’s off to Close Up2, a smooth jazz club in the city.

Saturday:

Lindsey will be dancing at The Shrine.

Then she will grab some upscale Mexican cuisine at Mercedito

Sunday:

Then she’ll head to 10pin for some bowling.
