What The Income Gap At Chicago's Selective Enrollment High Schools Show

A new study finds that high-performing students do just as well in selective high schools in Chicago as they do in good traditional schools. This is especially true for poor students whose grades actually suffer the city’s elite schools and they are less likely to get into top colleges.
