But for those with a passion for basketball that knows no bounds, fear not. The WNBA season is just getting started.
In recent years Chicago’s WNBA team The Sky has come close to the playoffs. Their first home game is Friday, June 10.
To find out what to expect this season Eight Forty-Eight was joined by Patricia Babcock McGraw. She does color analysis for Sky games on Comcast and writes about women’s sports for the Daily Herald. She also has hardwood experience; in the early ’90s, she played basketball for Northwestern University.
