Where Illinois Politicians Stand On Trump’s Immigrant Ban

Like most things in politics, the responses from politicians on President Donald Trump’s controversial immigration ban have been split along party lines, but there have been some notable exceptions in Illinois. Gov. Bruce Rauner and U.S. Representatives Adam Kinzinger and Randy Hultgren broke ranks from their colleagues in the GOP and criticized aspects of Trump’s ban.

On Friday, Trump signed an executive order to ban refugees and others from seven predominately Muslim countries, a move that caused havoc and confusions at O’Hare and other airports around the world.
