The World Cup kicks off today, and we’ve invited three of WBEZ’s World Cup bloggers to join us for analysis. 

Ahmed Rehab is the director of the Chicago Chapter of the Council on American-Islamic Relations.

We’re also joined by Pavel Yusim. When he’s not blogging for us, he’s a software engineer and owner of the Stella Espresso Company in Chicago’s Rogers Park.

Last but not least, Michael Madero is blogging from South Africa. He’s the assistant men’s soccer coach at the University of Chicago and an administrator for the U.S.Youth Soccer Olympic Development Program.
