You wouldn’t know it from the rancorous national debate, but the flow of immigrants from Mexico to the U.S. has slowed to a halt. Worldview talks to Douglas Massey, co-director of Princeton University’s Mexican Migration Project, who says the reasons have as much to do with improved education and economic prospects in Mexico as they do beefed up security on the border.
