ByCongress is close to passing a defense bill with a provision that would allow Americans suspected of terrorism to be detained indefinitely. Worldview’s human rights contributor Doug Cassel explains the implications. Lastly, WBEZ’s Lynette Kalsnes reports on a new exhibit on the South Side that highlights a chapter of history largely unknown in the U.S. The exhibit, at the Balzekas Museum of Lithuanian Culture, tells the story of Lithuanians who were forced by Stalin to leave their homes and labor in Siberia.
