Life has ground to a halt in the violence-stricken city of Homs, Syria. Some neighborhoods lack electricity and many households are struggling to get food on the table. Worldview talks to a local Syrian-American dentist who fears for her family’s safety back in Homs; last month, one of her relatives was shot and killed after leaving a mosque.
