And, this Saturday, Egyptians will hold a referendum on their constitution that will likely shape the country’s political future. We’ll talk with University of Notre Dame professor Emad Shahin about what we can expect. Also, in southern Sudan, since a statehood referendum, scores of villagers have died in recent fighting despite a heavy UN presence with a mandate to protect citizens.
