We’re spending the week looking at nuclear energy around the globe and today we focus on China. China currently has 13 nuclear power reactors in operation and more than 25 under construction. Ted Fishman, author of China Inc., joins us to discuss China’s growing nuclear energy industry. Also, Bede Sheppard, a senior researcher in the Children’s Rights Division of Human Rights Watch, studies attacks on schools and teachers. He’ll tell us how these assaults have disrupted the education system in Pakistan's Balochistan Province. And the documentary Pushing the Elephant debuts tonight on PBS stations around the country. It tells the story of the separation and reunion of Congolese refugee Rose Mapendo and her daughter Nangabire. Rose and co-director Beth Davenport tell us about the film.
