As it stands, women still pay more for coverage than men. But the new health care law would prohibit this. Sharon Green, program developer for the Institute for Womens Health Research at Northwestern University, tells Worldview about the challenges women face in getting good, affordable, health care. Also, director Claude Lanzmann was a French resistance fighter and a lover of Simone de Beauvoir. He’s best known for his epic nine-hour documentary Shoah, which is considered one of the most important oral records of those who survived the Holocaust.  Lanzmann’s memoir has just been published in the United States.
