The Deepwater Horizon oil rig owned by British Petroleum exploded off the Louisiana coast one year ago this week. The spill killed 11 crew members and released millions of gallons of oil into the Gulf of Mexico. Antonia Juhasz, author of Black Tide: the Devastating Impact of the Gulf Oil Spill, tells us why she thinks a similar disaster could strike again. Also, Donna Demir, a Chicago area nurse, lends her skills to the Zakat Foundation, a local disaster relief group. Zakat has sent her to Ghana, Bangladesh and flood-ridden Pakistan to provide medical assistance to people in need. She recently returned from the Tunisian border with Libya, where she helped care for the influx of refugees flooding the border. She tells us what she saw.
