President Obama’s nomination for World Bank president surprised many observers, given that he’s not an economist. But Dr. Jim Yong Kim, president of Dartmouth College and the co-founder of Partners in Health, has competition from two nominees that threatens to break America’s 70-year dominance of the financial institution. Worldview speaks with Elaine Zuckerman, founder of financial institution watchdog Gender Action, about the potential for significant change at the World Bank.
