This week marks the 25th anniversary of the Chernobyl (Chornobyl) nuclear disaster. We continue our series commemorating the event with Dr. Yuri Scherbak who was on the scene just moments after the explosion. He joins us from Kiev. Also, Dr. Daniel Hryhorczuk of the University of Illinois School of Public Health discusses his work. He’s spent the past 20 years researching the health effects of the disaster.
