After U.S. forces killed Osama bin Laden, the Pakistani parliament issued a resolution condemning the U.S. raid in Abbottabad.  It asked the government to “revisit and review its terms of engagement with the United States.”  We’ll discuss the current state of  U.S.- Pakistani relations with two Chicago-based columnists from the Urdu Times.  Also, the Rocky Mountain Institute, a Colorado-based environmental think tank, wants the U.S. to wean itself off oil by 2050. Rocky Mountain CEO Michael Potts tells Jerome how he thinks we can get there. And on Global Notes, Radio M host Tony Sarabia introduces Jerome to his latest musical discovery, Asha Puthli. She’s been dubbed India’s answer to Aretha Franklin.
