The U.S. military relies on private contractors for lots of things — including spying. Washington Post National Security Correspondent Craig Whitlock joins us to discuss his recent reporting, which found that the U.S. military is contracting private companies for surveillance missions in Africa.

Then, Bangladesh is one of the world’s most densely populated countries with 150 million people. But almost half of them live below the national poverty line. Dr. Badiul Alam Majumdar, vice president and country director for The Hunger Project-Bangladesh explains why poverty remains such a persistent problem in Bangladesh and tells Worldview what his organization is doing to try to lift people out of poverty.
