That is just one indication of the big decline in pirate activity onthe Somali coast. U.S. State Department official Tom Kelly tells Worldview aboutthe international effort he helped coordinate to defeat piracy in the region.Yusuf Maalin, head of the Somali Strategy Forum in Chicago, also joins thediscussion. He says some Somalis worry that ex-marauders may target locals andguest workers. Global Activism WGN reporter Randi Belisomo has apassion for bringing clean water to those in need.
