A 25 year-old Rick Kogan

You know Rick Kogan as the current host of The Afternoon Shift, as a newspaperman who has written for the Chicago Daily News, Chicago Sun-Times and Chicago Tribune.

He's also authored a number of books, and he's been on the air at TV and radio stations across the city. 

But where he was at 25?

Only he can tell you that. 

His story is the kickoff to WBEZ's new Year 25 series that looks at Chicagoans – some you know and others you might not know – and where they were at this milestone age.
