Two area schools have now closed due to a high number of flu cases. Illinois Mathematics and Science Academy in Aurora was closed briefly last week. Tami Armstrong is with the school. She says it’s the first time it has closed due to a high number of flu cases in its 30-year existence. Komarek School District 94 in the western suburbs announced yesterday it’ll be closed through Monday.
