Amazon unveiled a “fulfillment center” in southwest suburban Romeoville Thursday, putting the number of Amazon fulfillment centers in Illinois at five, according to the company. Amazon says by the end of 2018 it will have opened four more, and employ more than 8,000 people in the state.
