Arlington Heights Library Considers Rescheduling Immigrant Program

Officials at Arlington Heights Memorial Library say they’re not sure yet if they’ll reschedule a Know Your Rights workshop for immigrants that was scheduled to take place this past Monday. It was cancelled because of threats. Acting library director Mike Driskell says five phone calls and emails led library officials to worry that U.S. immigration and enforcement agents would be called to attend and even arrest people at the event.
