Chicago Ald. Carlos Ramirez-Rosa Drops Out Of Primary

The field to replace Democratic Congressman Luis Gutierrez just got a little smaller on Tuesday. And then there were five: Chicago Ald. Carlos Ramirez-Rosa announced Tuesday that’s he’s dropping out of the March 20th primary. Ramirez-Rosa also endorsed Cook County Commissioner Jesus Chuy Garcia. The remaining four candidates in the Democratic primary are Chicago aldermen Proco Joe Moreno and Ray Lopez, community activist Sol Flores, and police Sgt. Richard Gonzalez.
